KCR Solutions are recruiting a Part-Time Accountant for an excellent client based in Hebburn. This role will suit a hands-on team player with good Excel knowledge. Working closely with the FD this is a brilliant opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organisation supporting core financial operations and ensuring accuracy across all accounting functions.Key Responsibilities
- Preparing monthly management accounts.
- Assisting in the preparation of statutory accounts.
- Liaising with external accountants/auditors.
- Reconciling company bank accounts.
- Managing accruals prepayments and other month-end adjustments.
- Preparing VAT returns while complying with HMRC deadlines.
- Maintaining accounting systems and generating financial reports.
- Providing cost analysis budgeting support and ad hoc financial reporting.
- Delivering accurate data and insights to support the FDs decision-making.
- Maintaining knowledge of wider finance responsibilities to provide cover if needed.
The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified or part-qualified CIMA/ACCA with previous experience of management and statutory accounts processes. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills are a must.
