The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotels employment policies and practices including hiring firing discipline staffing compensation benefits and all other terms and conditions of employment. The Director of Sales will lead the hotels sales strategy driving revenue growth through new and existing client relationships. This role requires a results-oriented leader who can identify opportunities develop and execute sales plans and collaborate with hotel leadership to maximize profitability. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the hospitality industry Marriott brand standards and experience in corporate group and transient sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals for the hotel.
Identify cultivate and maintain relationships with key corporate group and travel partners.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
Prepare and present sales reports forecasts and budgets to hotel management.
Execute promotional initiatives and advertising campaigns.
Ensure all sales activities adhere to Marriott brand standards and service excellence.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Hospitality Business Marketing or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry with at least 3 years in a sales role.
Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue goals.
Strong leadership communication negotiation and presentation skills.
Knowledge of Marriott systems CRM tools and sales platforms.
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.

The starting salary range for this role is $56000 annually plus bonus with the final offer dependent on the candidates experience and qualifications.
