Overview
The Accounts Payable Mail Specialist calls for an individual who is able to maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail. This position focuses on daily handling researching and processing of Accounts Payable and distributing company mail/packages.
Responsibilities
- Proficient use of computers and data entry
- Use of FedEx system
- Use of Postage meter
- Scans invoices electronically into computer imaging system
- Opens research codes and distributes daily Accounts Payable and Payroll mail
- Maintains AP operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes
- Use of stuffer machine for AP checks and letters from other departments
- Distribute mail/packages throughout the building on multiple floors
Qualifications
- High school GED preferred
- Mailroom experience preferred
- Accounts Payable experience preferred
- Microsoft Outlook experience preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in dealing with sensitive materials.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Travel 0-25%
