Manager Merchandising Operations

What will you do

A day in the life of a Manager Merchandising Operations at Dickies looks a little like this.

Youll be the operational heartbeat of the Merchandising and broader Product teamsensuring that timelines are met systems are optimized and cross-functional teams are aligned. Youll be the conductor of the product creation train. This position reports to the Chief Merchandising Officer.

This role is responsible for driving operational excellence throughout the product creation calendar leading key systems like FlexPLM and Power BI and supporting deep dives into reports and special projects. Youll bring rigor clarity and momentum to the merchandising engine.

• Process optimization and workflow management
  • Own the product creation calendar in partnership with Product Development streamlining workflows to improve speed clarity and collaboration.
  • Track and manage key milestones and deliverables across the merchandising timeline ensuring teams stay on course.
  • Facilitate calendar reviews and milestone check-ins to drive cross-functional accountability and readiness for GTM gates.
  • Partner closely with Marketing Ops GTM Ops and Planning to ensure alignment and execution.
  • Support the Chief Merchant with operational oversight reporting and project execution.
• Systems leadership
  • Serve as the business owner for FlexPLMdriving adoption accuracy training and continuous improvement.
  • Lead Power BI dashboard development and reporting tools to enable data-driven decision-making across product teams.
  • Ensure data integrity and system hygiene across merchandising and development workflows.
• Strategic support
  • Support the Chief Merchant with ad hoc reporting business analysis and special projects

What do you need to succeed

Additionally while formal education in a related field is great to have we are most interested in your 5-7 years of experience and professional achievements.

• Strong organizational and project management skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and product lifecycle management (PLM) software.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Creative mindset with the ability to support innovation in product operations.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.
• Knowledge of supply chain management and process optimization.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product operations supply chain management or a related field preferably in the apparel or consumer goods industry.
