We are currently looking for a Accounting Manager ready to join our adventure.

We are currently looking for a Accounting Manager ready to join our adventure.
What you will be doing
- Take responsibility for managing the general ledger.
- Leading the accounting team.
- Take responsibility for accounting for all company financial documents including invoices bank statements and other business transactions.
- Ensure that all accounting entries are prepared accurately and in line with corporate and regulatory deadlines.
- Work within GL processes and make recommendations for improvement where necessary.
- Prepare and maintain accurate tax records and file VAT WHT and CIT in accordance with local principles.
- Utilise technological solutions to manage financial record keeping while ensuring completeness as required by statutory authorities.
- Manage the asset register including booking monthly depreciation.
- Prepare annual financial statements and other reports for management.
- Take full ownership of the balance sheet and ensure that balance sheet areas are appropriately reconciled analysed and controlled.
- Take full responsibility for the month-end closing process.
- Work closely with external auditors.
- GUS (CSO) and NBP reporting.
- Cooperation with other team members in the area of monthly group reporting.
- Act as the contact person for correspondence with the tax authority.
- Drive the alignment of the companys accounting to IFRS.
- Take part in the implementation of new ERP features or the new accounting system.
Skills you should have
- At least 5 years of professional background in a similar position
- Knowledge of tax regulations including WHT and VAT and CIT
- Knowledge of IFRS standards
- At least fundamental knowledge of the principles of consolidating financial reports
- Masters degree in accounting finance or a similar field
- Fluency in English (verbal and written)
- Practical excel skills
- Strong analytical and multitasking skills
- Experience with the Exact system is nice to have
