JOB SUMMARY

The Procurement Technology Services (PTS) Project Manager will drive ongoing enhancements and increased efficiency for Jabils Procurement Technology Services external business and Jabils Indirect Procurement internal organization. This person will partner with resources dedicated to developing and expanding Jabils Global Procurement & Supply Chain Services (external) and internal organization.

JOB SUMMARY
Project Manager will lead assigned projects support programs and initiatives of medium to high complexity applying project management expertise to support the company and groups strategy within Jabils Global Indirect Procurement organization. Manage assigned projects through the various stages of the project lifecycle from concept to implementation. This includes developing services proposals SOWs business cases project plans with milestones Supplier/Customer onboarding resource time tracking and PO/Invoicing. Provide management and guidance toward successful collaboration with multi-functional groups and direct project team responsible for implementation of external client services and internal organization. Resource will be leading global internal & external client projects which may require adjustments to standard working hours to ensure successfully project delivery.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Internal Projects

  • Define concise goals and objectives within a project framework
  • Define and recognize project Key Performance Indicators and manage the work within scope quality time and cost constraints.
  • Support the solution team with developing mitigation plans for project risks
  • Work with Solution team to create project plans track milestones support action item follow-ups and proactively support raising risks as signs surface.
  • Ensure project team identifies project risks as they surface support mitigation plan development and tracks through closure.
  • Facilitate communication as appropriate to all involved and manage the stakeholders. This includes escalating issues to the next level of management.
  • Accountable for building key stakeholder relationships as deemed relative or necessary to project success.
  • Facilitates communication and education for all interested parties as deemed necessary.

External Client Services

  • Facilitates the transition of closed Services Contracts between Sales & Delivery teams to ensure all known client information including challenges goals agreed upon commitments contract details including services scope proposed resources forecasts timelines and projected start dates.
  • Ensure all project requirements and/or objectives are correctly gathered understood and properly translated for execution.
  • Monitor forecast activities for project staffing needs for current and future project needs
  • Accountable for overall project success including schedule quality and scope management.
  • Accountable for client satisfaction / relationships as deemed relative or necessary to project success.
  • Ability to support and lead strong multi-functional teams to achieve client objectives.
  • Understand and exceed client needs and expectations while remaining within the boundaries of contracted services.
  • Create and own project plans track milestones to completion and proactively raise project risks as signs surface.
  • Works with project teams to monitor deliverables track action items.
  • Provide regular project updates to project team stakeholders project champions and leadership as needed.
  • Identify and prepare proposals that close gaps and mitigate risk.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with project team members and stakeholders across levels.
  • Ensure all sensitive and confidential information is handled appropriately.
  • Supports building and structuring integrated teams to ensure maximum performance; provides direction and motivation.
  • Indirectly responsible for managing cross-divisional / cross-functional / cross-cultural teams.
  • Mentors & coaches project team members and non-direct reports. Gives and receives both written and verbal feedback.
  • Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
  • Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to form and lead strong multi-functional teams to achieve company and client (internal or external) objectives.
  • Organize verbal and written ideas clearly and use an appropriate business style.
  • Ability to effectively present information to management and/or client personnel.
  • Ability to respond in a timely fashion to common inquiries or complaints.
  • Define develop and implement strategies contribute to the overall company and group strategic direction.
  • Demonstrate high performance orientation detail orientation market knowledge and sound judgment
  • Demonstrate ability to build and leverage partnerships implement change and manage projects.
  • Ability to solve complex problems with limited information.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure with constantly changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in use of personal computers Microsoft Office products (Excel Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required.
  • Advanced PC skills including training and knowledge of procurement software packages in an integrated system such as SAP Coupa & DAP solutions

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors degree in Business Management or equivalent required.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Professional Service/Consulting in software applicable discipline within Indirect Procurement is required.

Minimum of 5-8 years prior experience in project management in a software applicable discipline within Indirect Procurement is required.

Coupa Digital Adoption Platform (WalkMe WhatFix Userlane) or other Saas solution Certification is preferred.

PMP Certification is required

Or an equivalent combination of education experience and / or training.

Proven ability to make decisions in challenging situations and take ownership regardless of outcome.

REASONING ABILITY
Strong problem solving analytic negotiation project management and people skills are a must. Ability to define problems collect data establish facts summarize information and draw valid conclusions. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts interest commissions proportions percentages area circumference and volume. Ability to solve practical problems with limited information. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form.
