Job Description

This position is remote in India
- This position will be remote in the country of India and will work Monday-Friday during India hours.
How you will achieve success:
- Backend Development: Proficiency in Python; experience with FastAPI or similar frameworks.
- Modern Data Stack: Experience with DBT Snowflake S3 or AWS Glue. You know how to modify and optimize data transformations.
- Distributed Systems: Practical experience with Kafka Redis PostgreSQL especially in scalable production contexts.
- Performance Tuning: Ability to optimize services and queries for speed and reliability. API Development: Experience building performant APIs to serve large datasets.
- Team Collaboration: Experience participating in team-based design reviews planning and peer code reviews.
What experiences will help you in this role:
- Bring 2-4 years of engineering experience. Strong in Python; familiarity with SQL and other languages a plus
- Modern Data Stack: Experience with DBT Snowflake S3 or AWS Glue. You know how to modify and optimize data transformations.
- Database Systems: Solid experience with relational (PostgreSQL) and key-value (Redis) databases. Cloud: Exposure to AWS services like S3 and Glue. Distributed Systems: Practical experience with Kafka Redis PostgreSQL especially in scalable production contexts.
- Data Processing Performance: Improve efficiency of ETL/ELT processes. System Reliability: Contribute to high uptime and low defect rates. API Responsiveness: Ensure APIs meet expected latency benchmarks.
- CI/CD: Comfortable working within established CI/CD pipelines. Observability: Experience using logs and metrics for debugging and monitoring. Workflow Orchestration: Experience with Dagster or similar tools is a plus.
This is a remote position and requires candidates to have an available work-from-home setup
Desktop/Laptop system requirements:
- 4th generation or higher at least Intel i3 or equivalent processor;
- at least 4GB RAM;
- Windows 10 and above or MAC OSX operating system
- You are required to provide your own dual monitors
A strong and stable internet connection (A DSL cable or fiber wired internet service with 10 Mbps plan or higher for primary connection)
PC Headset
A high-definition (HD) external or integrated webcam with at least 720p resolution.
