Business Development & Training ManagerSalary:per year
- Hours: 9am 5pm (flexibility required for travel) (occasional weekend work and overnight stays required)
- Location: Ideally based around Milton Keynes Northampton or surrounding areas covering the Midlands and South West (including Bristol)
- Performance Bonus: Up to 10000 annually

We are seeking a driven and engaging Business Development & Training Manager to join our clients team and play a pivotal role in developing their partners while driving sales growth across the Midlands South West and surrounding areas. This is a unique opportunity to combine sales expertise with people development helping clients succeed through impactful training coaching and product knowledge.
Key Responsibilities- Grow turnover across an established portfolio of independent accounts.
- Deliver engaging product and brand training sessions to equip partners with the tools to succeed.
- Increase sales and profitability by implementing best-practice sales techniques.
- Develop innovative strategies to meet the evolving needs of independent and national clients.
- Support the development of national accounts through regular training sessions and workshops.
- Create and deliver impactful sales training materials and resources.
- Monitor and improve merchandising to maximise brand visibility.
- Build strong lasting relationships with clients acting as a trusted partner.
- Collaborate with internal teams to achieve shared business goals.
- Represent the company at UK trade and consumer shows (occasional weekend work required).
- Travel across the Midlands South West and surrounding regions with regular overnight stays to maximise time with customers.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong product knowledge and a passion for training and development.
- Confident presenter with excellent public speaking and facilitation skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication.
- Self-motivated enthusiastic and able to inspire others.
- A natural people person who builds rapport quickly.
- Excellent organisational and journey-planning skills.
- Flexible and willing to travel extensively with overnight stays.
- A collaborative team player who can also lead when required.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to understand financial analysis.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Good level of Maths and English.
- Full clean driving licence (held for at least 2 years).
