Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilledSenior Azure Architectto lead and execute complex data platform transformations within our Azure ecosystem. This role demands deep technical expertise and hands-on experience with modern Azure data services particularly in designing and migrating enterprise-scale solutions.

Status: Contract
Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement scalable data solutions using:
- Azure Synapse Analytics
- Azure Databricks
- Azure Data Factory (ADF)andSynapse Pipelines
- Design and executeend-to-end migration plansfrom Synapse to Databricks
- Convert legacystored proceduresinto optimizedSpark SQL notebooks
- Migrate and modernizeETL pipelines orchestrating them viaDatabricks Workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and performance optimization
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and stakeholders
Qualificiations:
- Proven hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Databricks and ADF
- Strong proficiency in Spark SQL and notebook-based development
- Demonstrated success in migrating data platforms and ETL pipelines
- Deep understanding of data architecture performance tuning and workflow orchestration
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Azure certifications (e.g. Azure Solutions Architect Expert Azure Data Engineer Associate) a nice to have
