About this role

BILL is on a mission to make it simple to connect and do business. The Platform Identity & Multi-Entity team is at the core of this mission responsible for building the foundational services that govern how our customers access manage and interact with their organizations across our entire product ecosystem.

As a Principal Product Manager you will own the strategy and execution for some of our most complex and critical platform domains: Identity (Authentication & Authorization) Organization Services and our Multi-Entity architecture. You will be tasked with solving the technical and customer experience challenges that arise from a multi-product multi-system environment. Your work will directly impact developer efficiency system integrity and our ability to deliver a seamless secure and unified experience to our customers.

This is a high-impact strategy-focused role that requires deep technical product management expertise a passion for solving complex systems-level problems and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver foundational change.

What Youll Do

Define and Drive Strategy: Develop and champion a multi-year vision and roadmap for BILLs identity and entity frameworks to create a scalable foundation for a multi-product ecosystem.
Lead Foundational Change: Drive critical initiatives to consolidate disparate systems for identity authentication authorization and user management into a single secure and modern platform.
Champion the User Experience: Partner with Design and Research to map the end-to-end customer journey identifying and solving the most critical pain points related to access and organization management.
Collaborate and Influence: Lead and align cross-functional teams including Product Engineering Design and Security to deliver foundational change across the organization.
Drive Technical Product Excellence: Author high-quality technical requirements and product briefs guiding engineering as the subject matter expert on our identity models to build robust scalable solutions.

Your Background

8 years of product management experience with at least 4 years in a technical platform-focused role (e.g. Identity IAM APIs or similar).
Deep expertise in modern identity and access management (IAM) concepts such as AuthN AuthZ SSO MFA and RBAC.
Proven success leading large-scale multi-year platform initiatives from concept through to launch in complex ambiguous environments.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills with experience aligning senior technical and business stakeholders.
Experience with M&A product integration FinTech or products serving SMBs is a strong plus.

Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience expertise and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above. The estimated base salary range for this role is noted below for our office location in Draper UT. Additionally this role is eligible to participate in BILLs bonus and equity plan. Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience expertise and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above. The role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical dental vision life and disability insurance 401(k) retirement plan flexible spending & health savings account paid holidays paid time off and other company benefits.
