TriState Health is looking for a clinical float to support our Family Practice Clinics! The applicant chosen will need to be highly motivated and prepared to work in multiple practices in a fast--paced environment. Performing various patient care activities and related services in caring for the needs and comfort of patients under the direction of the physician mid-level provider or RN. Duties include but are not limited to obtaining basic assessment information including vital signs EKGs and point of care testing advocating patients; administering prescribed medications preparing exam rooms procedure room and assisting providers documenting in the patient electronic medical record.
This position receives a float differential of $1.50/ hour.
Education and Training:
- Certified Medical Assistants must have graduated from or be about to complete amedical assistingprogram accreditedby the Commission on Accreditation of Allied HealthEducation Programs(CAAHEP) or by the Accrediting Bureau of HealthEducationSchools (ABHES).
Licensures/ Certifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant License Washington and Idaho.
- Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification card on hire or within orientation period required.
Experience:
- Previous clinic experience preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
- Computer skills medical terminology and experience with office assessments necessary.
