Primary School Assistant Teacher
The German European School Singapore (GESS) is inviting expressions of interest for an experienced Primary School Assistant Teacher for Grades 15.
Responsibilities
- Assist teaching in primary classrooms:
- Supervising and teaching small groups within a whole class or small group setting
- Helping to prepare lesson materials
- Filing and organising student work and resources
- Supervising students during lunchtimes and breaktimes
- Assisting lessons in art physical education or other subjects as needed
Requirements
- Must be proficient in English spoken and written language classes will be conducted in English
- Fluency in other languages a plus as you will be communicating with colleagues and students who speak various languages
- Tertiary education qualifications a plus
- Experience working with children aged 5 to 11
- Willingness and ability to learn and take direction
- Flexibility organisation skills and a caring attitude
