Aunque se han registrado avances normativos persisten desigualdades estructurales y culturales que obstaculizan el acceso equitativo al empleo limitando su autonoma y participacin social.
Inspirado en el principio internacional Nada sobre nosotros sin nosotros promovido por el Comit sobre los Derechos de las Personas con Discapacidad de la ONU este foro busca garantizar la participacin directa de las personas con discapacidad en la construccin de soluciones y polticas pblicas. La toma de decisiones debe incorporar sus voces experiencias y necesidades asegurando que las estrategias de inclusin laboral sean realmente representativas y efectivas para garantizar su derecho al trabajo digno.
Esta convocatoria se alinea con la poltica internacional de la ONU: No dejar a nadie atrs y no dejar a nadie afuera adoptada por el Gobierno de Baja California como eje transversal de sus polticas pblicas. En ese marco se destaca la vinculacin con el Objetivo de Desarrollo Sostenible 8 (ODS 8) de la Agenda 2030 que establece como meta lograr para 2030 el empleo pleno y productivo y el trabajo
decente para todas las personas incluidas las personas con discapacidad as como la igualdad de remuneracin por trabajo de igual valor.
