Responsibilities
As a Night Assembly Operative your key responsibilities will include:
- Packing: Carefully package products to meet quality and safety standards.
- Operating Machinery: Operate and monitor assembly line equipment ensuring optimal performance while adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Picking Items: Accurately select and prepare raw materials or products for assembly.
- Conduct routine quality control checks to identify and report any defects or inefficiencies.
- Follow detailed instructions and procedures to meet production targets.
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve processes and resolve challenges.
- Adhere to company policies and workplace safety guidelines.
Qualifications
We are looking for motivated individuals with the following skills and qualifications:
- Previous experience in assembly packing or machine operation (preferred but not requiredtraining provided).
- Ability to work efficiently and maintain focus during night shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods as well as lifting and moving items as needed.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a warehouse or industrial setting (advantageous).
Day-to-Day
Your typical day as a Night Assembly Operative will include:
- Starting your shift with a safety briefing and review of daily production goals.
- Operating and monitoring machinery to assemble or package products efficiently.
- Performing quality control checks to ensure all products meet company standards.
- Collaborating with team members to address challenges and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Picking and preparing items for production or shipment.
- Maintaining a clean and safe workspace throughout your shift.
- Providing updates and handing over progress reports to the next shift team.
