The opportunity:

Plan prepare and coordinate pre-commissioning/commissioning/start-up activities leading to project completion. Develop and ensure adherence to a detailed commissioning schedule and plan covering all aspectsof pre-commissioning and start-up phases through to handover. Prepare and/or update a comprehensivecommissioning manual. Develop a reporting structure and accountabilities for the commissioning team. Planand coordinate the commissioning/start up schedule and necessary work with third party providers. Developpre-commissioning test procedures and documentation. Correct any deficiencies found. Ensure complianceand progress reports are produced in accordance with client and legislative requirements. Liaise with government agencies where required to obtain necessary approvals prior to start-up. Prepare client acceptanceforms and ensure satisfactory sign-off is obtained. Develop comprehensive quality environment and safetycommissioning plans. A Senior Professional (P3) applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtainedthrough advanced education and work experience. Responsibilities may include Managing projects / processes working independently with limited supervision. Coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals. Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.

How youll make an impact:

• Installation supervision and testing of primary equipment in FACTS.

• Installation of Control and Protection cubicles Electrical yard equipment power and control cablesLaying termination and testing of fiber cable installation of reactors & capacitor filter units distribution panels and switchgears is expected.

• Knowledge of Protection relays and Control System (SCMS / SCADA) will be an added advantage.

• Coordinate with design engineering teams Sub-contractors consultants suppliers and customers and ensure the Installation activities are carried out smoothly meeting the time schedule.

• Technical co-ordination with sub suppliers and multiple stakeholders in different locations & discuss with other departments / stakeholders to prepare the Division of works.

• Involved in FAT / SAT activities with along with sub suppliers

• Technical support at site during commissioning phase of the project

Your Background:

• Should be a bachelors or masters degree in ECE / EEE/ E&I or I&C.

• Should have minimum 7 years of working experience in Installation supervision of FACTS / HVDC / Substations of 33KV and above

• Handson experience in projects handle in India / other country locations.

• Good knowledge of IEC NEC standards and customer specific standards (SEC DEWA North America etc.) for installation is preferred.

• Strong communication and people skills with high focus on customers and stake holders and their needs.

• Very strong knowledge of safety standards and be able to lead the safety responsibility at sites.

• Willingness to work in multicultural / international environment.

• Should have good knowledge of OHSAS procedures and be able to handle OHS responsibility for his team at site.

• Good knowledge of process Automation / Power grid Automation
