Supervisor, Export

Due to continuous growth CommScope is looking to hire a Supervisor Export to be based at our site in Goa India. This role will be responsible for releasing work orders and coordination with the production team and vendors for timely production/supply of material and ensuring smooth production without any shortage of material.

How Youll Help Us Connect the World:

• Documentation:Prepare review and manage all necessary export documentation including commercial invoices packing lists bills of lading/air waybills certificates of origin and insurance certificates ensuring accuracy and compliance with country-specific requirements.

• Logistics Coordination:Coordinate with freight forwarders carriers warehouses and internal production/sales teams to plan and schedule timely and cost-effective shipments.

• Trade Compliance:Ensure strict adherence to international trade laws customs regulations tariffs and export controls (e.g. Incoterms HS classification sanctions denied party screening) to avoid delays fines or legal penalties.

• Shipment Monitoring and Issue Resolution:Track shipments from the manufacturing facility to the final destination proactively resolving any issues that may arise such as customs delays damages or missing documentation.

• Stakeholder Communication:Serve as the primary point of contact for international customers suppliers and government agencies providing updates and addressing inquiries.

• Record Keeping and Reporting:Maintain accurate and organized electronic and physical records of all export activities and transactions for audit purposes generating reports on shipment statuses and costs for management.

• Cost Management & Negotiation:Negotiate freight rates with carriers and monitor overall shipment costs to optimize efficiency and align with budgetary requirements.

• Inventory Management Support:Liaise with the finished goods warehouse team to ensure products are picked packed labeled and staged for shipment in an export-ready manner adhering to quality and safety standards.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

• Bachelors in related curriculum such as B. Com/B. A with minimum4 years of relevant experience.

• Degree /Diploma with minimum 4 years of experience.

• Previous experience in export operations international shipping or a similar logistics role is valuable.

• Knowledge of warehouse management software (e.g.SAP) and proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint).

• Strong leadership communication and problem-solving skills.

• Deep understanding of international trade regulations customs procedures and export documentation requirements.

You Will Excite Us If You Have:

• Proficiency in SAP as it relates to time and attendance material transactions etc. Very good interpersonal communication & people management skills.
