What you will be working on:

  • Manage and control project costs throughout all phases of construction to ensure alignment with budget targets.
  • Coordinate and oversee trade contractors ensuring compliance with scope of work schedules and quality standards.
  • Direct preconstruction activities including schedule development construction sequencing and value engineering to optimize project delivery.
  • Assist with bid clarifications and contract negotiations with trade contractors regarding scope costs and timelines.
  • Collaborate with the Superintendent to prepare update and execute detailed project plans and construction schedules.
  • Implement and enforce health safety and environmental procedures in accordance with legislation and company policy to ensure worker safety and public protection.
  • Lead and manage workforce equipment materials and subcontractors to achieve targeted profit and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and achieve project milestones by forecasting upcoming activities identifying weekly deliverables and ensuring timely execution by own forces and subcontractors.
  • Take corrective action when necessary to maintain schedules and meet critical milestone dates.
  • Proactively identify address and resolve issues and risks before they impact project progress.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients consultants and subcontractors fostering mutual trust respect and long-term collaboration.

What we are looking for:

  • At least 1 year of experience in project scheduling with a construction company.
  • Experience in effective supervision coordination and scheduling of construction activities to ensure consistent completion of projects on-time on budget and to the clients satisfaction.

Required Education:

  • A minimum of a Bachelors degree in Construction Management Project Management Engineering or a related field.
