Position Summary

Associate Internal Audit Analyst with a background in accounting finance or compliances. The Associate is responsible for assessing internal controls identifying process improvements and preparing comprehensive audit reports in accordance with acceptable internal audit practices.


Job Description

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Employees are expected to work consistently to demonstrate the mission vision and core values of the organization. Activities to be performed by the analyst include:

  • Assists the Internal Audit Analyst in preparing and maintaining the audit program using existing audit application software.
  • Gathers the documentation required for conducting tests of identified internal process controls.
  • Conducts the initial testing of controls and provide comprehensive details of test execution results.
  • Corresponds with auditees regarding scheduling initial documentation requests and follow-up information and communicate responses to the internal audit team.
  • Supports the internal audit department by updating internal procedural documentation and templates.

Education

  • Highschool graduate working towards an associate or bachelors degree in a business-related curriculum.
  • Bachelors degree in business-related curriculum.

Experience

  • 1 years of related experience.
  • 2 years of related experience preferred.

Knowledge

  • A strong foundation in accounting principles and auditing practices

Skills

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools

Abilities

  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Good report writing skills
