As a Agricultural Sourcing Professional/Commodity Buyer Market Intelligence Analyst.
you will identify research evaluate and select suppliers that meet the global organisations standards of price quality timing and reliability of supply and provide analytical support services for the global procurement initiatives and projects.
What you will do:
- Strategic Planning: Responsible for building different reports such as Goal LE LF Corn Variance margin call and others helping to project the Monthly Corn Cost and deliver key information for our stakeholders.
- Market and Competitive Intelligence: Responsible for building Logistics and Corn reports. Also responsible for understanding how the market is behaving and what is happening in terms of futures basis and ocean freight.
- Operations and execution: Building and centralizing information related to suppliers audits and internal processes.
- Corn inventory: Consolidate corn inventories for Per and Colombia.
- Agri products process: Managing the approvals process to guarantee the execution of them and making the purchases of these agri-products.
- Team support: Participate actively helping the team in their processes.
Agility and Innovation
- Business Development: Open mind and skills to develop strategies to optimize agri-products logistics performance and efficiencies.
- Agility: Strong ability to timely solve logistics issues exploring different alternatives to offset challenges and to achieve the best solution.
- Flexibility: Strong ability to adapt logistics process timely to any change in law regulations and new activities related with logistics and customs processes.
- Active participation on strategies development to optimize logistics processes through KPI.
- Suppliers Evaluation and feedback.
Relationships and people
- Internal Relationships: Maintain a productive and effective relationship with the main areas related to agri-products supply to ensure a clear and proper flow of information to achieve internal customer satisfaction.
