| GCIs Senior Sourcing Manager will lead strategic sourcing projects to drive savings based on procurement category strategies including full lifecycle project management of procurement events related to competitive bidding and incumbent renegotiations. This role directly affects the companys cost structure and will have a direct impact on negotiated rates for products & services purchased by the company margin improvement for cost of goods sold to companys clients and cost avoidance related to products & services purchased by the company. Strategic sourcing and negotiation activities will potentially include any area of expense and capital spending. Identifies cost and process synergies while collaborating with project stakeholders and Vice President (VP) sponsors. | ||||

Additional Job Requirements: This is a senior level position functioning as the subject matter expert (SME) working under minimal supervision with wide latitude for independent judgment. Requires the ability to perform highly complex or unique special work assignments under deadlines and operating constraints. Must have high-level competency in skills/knowledge communication leadership and overall business impact/value chain and a comprehensive understanding of company operations functions and business philosophy. Must have the experience to provide functional/technical guidance to lower-level staff while fostering teamwork within area of responsibility.
