Job Summary
Aversan Inc. () is a trusted multi-service engineering and electronics manufacturing company. Aversan delivers leading-edge and reliable safety-critical electronics and software systems to the aerospace defence and space industries.
We are currently seeking a qualified Hardware Engineering Manager to join our team.
Location: Peterborough ON
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of electrical engineers across multiple aerospace programs.
Oversee the design analysis and testing of electrical systems including power and embedded electronics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical software systems and manufacturing engineering.
Ensure compliance with military and aerospace industry standards
Drive technical reviews design validation and product qualification processes.
Manage project timelines budgets and resource allocation.
Interface with customers and stakeholders to define requirements and present technical solutions.
Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
15 years of experience in electrical engineering with at least 8 years in a leadership role.
Registered as a Professional Engineer (.) in a Canadian province or territory.
Strong knowledge of power and digital electronics FPGA applications PCB design EMI/EMC and system integration.
Excellent communication leadership and project management skills.
