Veterans Engineering is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for:
- Medical/Surgical: Ortho/Surgical 12B Medical Neuro/Trauma Telemetry
- Operating Room: Level 1 Trauma
1. Registered Nurse Medical/Surgical(Med/Surg)
Openings: Varies by unit
Salary: $80000 annually
Shift: Nights (12x3) or Days (12x3 for Telemetry)
Assignment Dates: 09/15/2025 11/22/2025 (varies by unit)
Job Summary:
Provide patient-centered care in Medical/Surgical units includingOrtho/Surgical Neuro/Trauma and Telemetry. Assess patient conditionsimplement care plans administer medications perform procedures andcollaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe and effective nursing care in assigned units
- Monitor patient conditions and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Document care in EPIC/EMR systems
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery
- Follow hospital policies procedures and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate records including skills checklists certifications and work history
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years specialty experience
- Resume with no gaps >60 days
- BLS certification
- Active RN license
- References and Certification Card
- EPIC experience required (preferred for some units)
- Willingness to work holidays and assigned shifts
- Badge-appropriate photo
Patient Population:
- Adults with ortho/surgical conditions spinal neuro trauma gunshot wounds quads paraplegics or cardiac/CHF conditions (Telemetry)
2. Registered Nurse Operating Room(Level 1 Trauma)
Openings: 4
Salary: $90000 annually
Shift: 10-hour shifts (6:45 AM 5:15 PM) including call weekends andholidays
Assignment Dates: 09/29/2025 12/27/2025
Job Summary:
Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care in a Level 1 Trauma OR patients for surgery assist during procedures and collaborate withsurgical teams to ensure safe and efficient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide perioperative care and monitor patient status in the OR
- Assist surgeons during procedures and maintain sterile technique
- Administer medications and support patient recovery
- Document care in EMR systems
- Follow all hospital policies procedures and safety protocols
- Maintain skills checklist certifications and work history
Requirements:
- Prior travel experience in large Level 1 Trauma facilities required (must show in work history)
- High ratings on all skills checklists; strong proficiency across OR skill areas
- Resume with no gaps >60 days
- BLS certification
- Active RN license
- References and Certification Card
- Badge-appropriate photo
- No block scheduling
