Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Architecture Practice Lead to join our team to oversee the development and implementation of architectural frameworks and best practices across the organization.
As the successful candidate you will be responsible for leading the architecture practice driving the design and implementation of innovative digital solutions and ensuring alignment with business objectives. You will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of modern architecture design cloud solutions and stakeholder engagement.
Your role will include the following key responsibilities:
- Solution Design: Architect and design key components of digital solutions ensuring scalability reliability and performance.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with various stakeholders including C-level executives to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the architecture team fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Industry Expertise: Leverage experience across multiple industries to drive the adoption of best practices and emerging technologies.
- Problem-Solving: Quickly identify and address technical challenges adapting to changes in scope funding or technology direction.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate and select vendors ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.
You will bring the following key skills to the role:
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading and mentoring technical teams.
- Modern Architecture Design: Expertise in event-driven API and microservice-based architectures on various cloud platforms.
- Technical Expertise: Strong technical background with the ability to deep dive into code and create proof of concepts.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly pick up new problems and devise effective solutions.
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in solution architecture with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
