Lindy Farm is committed to maintaining the highest care maintenance and health standardsfor the farms horses and facilities.

Position Summaries:

The Horse Truck Driver is responsible for transporting the horses.

Your Role:

Transport horses safely between farms races and/or other equine events.
Load and unload horses in a safe manner
Hook the trailer to the truck
Accurately maintain a logbook
Ensure the truck is well-maintained and clean
Report incidents to the manager
Assist with general stud duties
Day and overnight trips to other farms and training when necessary.
Maintains reasonable regular and punctual attendance consistent with Company policies the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and other federal state and local standards.
Adapts to changing duties as required based on business needs

Your Skills:

Transporting horses with experience preferred
Multi-tasking abilities
Good oral communication and organizational skills
Basic computer skills
Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced work environment.

Requirements:

Valid drivers license and Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Card
Have a good attitude and participate as a member of the team.
Able to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends and holidays.

Must be able to work alone or with a team.
