Under the guidance of FamilySearch team members the intern will:
Complete various community tasks including moderating and providing quality and accurate responses in our community.
Ensure adherence to the Community Code of Conduct through the review of posts and engagement with users.
Partner with supervisors to enhance processes and procedures supporting our teams ensuring seamless community support.
Contribute to the development and implementation of new and improved processes aligning with organizational objectives.
Engage with diverse FamilySearch teams to deliver accurate and comprehensive responses within the Community platform.
Responsibilities may vary by assignment depending on department and need. The Intern receives assignments from supervising staff. The Manager reviews the Interns work occasionally. The supervisor reviews each assignment as it is completed. The Intern is expected to meet rigid and challenging deadlines work in harmony with other people take direction on each assignment and give full attention to detail. Independence in working tact and diplomacy are required. Sound judgment of Church doctrine history organization policy and protocol are also expected.
Demonstrate exceptional communication computer literacy and organizational skills.
Exhibit adaptability in prioritization ensuring timely completion of tasks and milestones.
Show proficiency in reviewing processes identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
Exhibit a willingness and aptitude to learn new technologies.
Knowledge using FamilySearch is required
Prior community engagement experience is helpful.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
Paid interns currently enrolled in an educational institution or within one year of graduation are invited to apply. A signed Paid Internship Engagement Letter is required to commence the internship.
