UCC Environmental is a privately held family-owned company founded in 1920 that focuses on mission critical solutions associated with air water and solids. Traditional business focuses on design supply and service for material handling systems for coal combustion residuals (fly ash bottom ash mill rejects etc.) the byproduct of electricity and steam power production plants. Additional business activities include design supply installation and commissioning rental equipment and full-scale demonstrations injecting sorbents directly into flue gas ducts to remove pollutants in the air. Newer activity includes the design supply installation & commissioning and operations & maintenance of various types of wastewater treatment solutions including outage wash low volume flue gas desulphurization and pond closure applications. Custom-engineered designs are based on customer specifications laboratory test data industry best practices and UCC Environmental design standards that have been proven by experience which has made them the North American industry leader and a globally renowned environmental and material handling solutions provider.
The UCC Environmental corporate headquarters are based in Waukegan IL approximately 25 miles north of addition the Company has manufacturing/assembly/warehousing facility in Pleasant Prairie Wisconsin and additional warehousing locations in Germany and China. Global engineering offices are located in Waukegan Moers Germany and Pune India. Global supply chain functions are managed in Waukegan Moers and Pune with additional purchasing and quality control personnel permanently based in Shanghai. International Sales offices are located in Moers and Pune.
PRINCIPAL FOCUS OF THE POSITION
UCC Environmental is a progressive well-run company with excellent customer relationships and Utility-specific as well as other Heavy Industries (including Mining Cement Pulp & Paper Steel Chemical Microelectronics etc.) technology solutions. The Company has developed a business strategy encompassing market growth through a variety of channels including organic domestic growth technology and business acquisitions strategic partnering and expanded international sales coverage. The Company has strong sales channels in North America and currently possesses emerging sales channels in Europe-Middle East-Africa (EMEA) and Asia-Pacific (AP).
The focus of the position will be to leverage Utility Power Heavy Industrial and environmental compliance experience to develop and implement short to mid-range business objectives and strategic sales plans in coordination with the UCC Environmental Sales and Marketing Management Teams. Primary responsibilities will include technically and strategically directing the territory for all sales initiatives meeting US EPA requirements and any other potential need an end user may have that would require new material handling air pollution control or water treatment systems. The role will also include training and development corporate and site level customer relationship development/ management opportunity identification and technical sales presentations.
The District Sales Manager reports to the Manager of Field Sales of UCC Environmental. The District Sales Manager must combine strong technical knowledge with capabilities in Customer Relationship Management. This is an individual contributor role and includes responsibilities to manage four additional resources (outside sales) that are in place to ensure all Territory Sales Targets are met or exceeded. The District Sales Manager shall work closely with Current and Prospective Clients Internal Sales and Engineering Departments. Frequent travel to Customer sites is expected. Visits to the UCC Environmental Office in Waukegan could be required on an as-needed basis.

Compensation and Benefits
Base Pay Range: $120000 - $150000 annual pay based on skills and experience
Other Compensation: Incentive pay of 0-50% based achieving sales targets as outlined in the incentive plan.
