Job Summary: The Bi-Lingual Human Resource specialist will assist in the running of the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) for 10 locations across 5 states. This including hiring and interviewing staff benefits compliance training and enforcing company policies and practices. You will assist in facilitating daily HR functions like keeping track of employees records and supporting theinterview process. Your rolealso involves performing tasks with a focus to grow our companystalent pipelineand improve oursourcing tactics.This position would be 40 hours a week permanent position. Pay depends on experience: $65000 - $75000 a year.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review Employee handbook semiannually
  • Audit and assist with employee personnel files job descriptions pay plans and organizational charts.
  • Workmans compensation claims processing
  • Processes and helps employees with FMLA
  • Assist with benefits: open enrollment attending benefit meetings preparing material for meetings
  • Assist all department managers in recruiting and hiring for open positions.
  • Continued training of Teton Auto Group processes and products to be well versed in all platforms used.
  • Assist with employee relations
  • Maintain compliance with federal state and local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices. Ensure all processes and compliance programs are being completed by employees. Review OSHA standards per dealership annually.
  • Maintainknowledge of trends best practices regulatory changes and new technologies in human resources talent management and employment law.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development engagement motivation and preservation of human capital
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies systems tactics and procedures across the organization
  • Nurture a positive working environment
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal /one on ones with employees and systems that drives high performance
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements and skills

  • BSc/BA in Human Resources Business Management or relevant field
  • 3 to 6 years of Human Resources Experience
  • Bi-Lingual Spanish/English
  • Proven experience in HR or relevant human resources/administrative position
  • Knowledge of human resources processes andbest practices
  • Strong ability in using MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint in particular)
  • Familiarity withsocial media recruiting
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle data and employee relations with confidentiality
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Familiarity with performance management and relevant software
  • Knowledge of labor legislation and compliance
  • Hands-on experience with Human Resources tools (e.g. Applicant Tracking Systems)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Additional certification (e.g. CIPD or SPHR) is a plus
