Position Summary
The Enrollment Management Student Assistant serves as a vital member of the university community providing essential student and visitor support at the front desk in ONeal Sells Hall. This role involves welcoming and assisting students faculty staff and visitors with inquiries information and services. The Student Assistant plays a key role in maintaining a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the administrative building contributing to a seamless and efficient operation.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Provide prompt friendly service to all customers (students staff faculty alumni visitors. etc.). Act as an information source about the department the University and the administrative building. Answer phone calls to main Enrollment Management line and serves as a backup to the main university line. Accurately direct calls and visitors to the proper location. Assist with clerical level tasks such as sorting and packing mail write notecards call students as part of a call campaign etc. Participate in student leadership trainings and meetings as required. Adhere to university policies and guidelines. Other duties as assigned.
