As a Medical Laboratory Assistant at Aculabs you will play a key role in ensuring safe handling and preparation of patient specimens. You will be responsible for preparing and handling patient specimens safely maintaining and operating lab equipment under supervision reporting critical values and following laboratory protocols and adhering to all regulatory and HIPAA compliance standards.

Responsibilities
Disposes of out of date patient specimens.
Assist with inventory for reagents and disposable supplies etc. for refilling stocking and placing in their assigned place.
Performs daily maintenance and loads quality control for laboratory procedures as assigned.
Operates instrumentation (moderate complexity) as assigned.
Communicates with nursing personnel
Maintains appropriate documentation
Requirements/ Education (Any one of the following will be taken into account)
Minimum of a high school diploma.
Excellent communication skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Word Excel Etc.
Ability to stand for long periods of time
