Job Description

If you are interested in professional sales career then this is the job for you! Athena SWC is looking for a goal-oriented individual who can interested in an executive sales career by helping our sales team build our internal sales pipeline and drive new business development opportunities (specific to Athenas integrated and SEO program service offerings) through outbound prospecting qualifying data gathering and appointment this critical role you will be the front-end sales expert to generate new business opportunities with the Athena sales department and have an opportunity to move into an executive sales role. This an extremely exciting and rewarding role that provides opportunity to learn train and develop your sales skills while providing an opportunity for growth into a New Business Development Manager position.

Athena SWC LLC headquartered in Amherst NY is a sales and marketing development agency that serves as an outsourced lead generation team for our B2B clients. We help our clients engage with prospects and assist them by moving sales opportunities through the sales pipeline by providing best practice processes tools and a team of people to execute and manage the sales process.

Your Work:

  • Perform frequent outbound phone calls and email activities to generate qualified appointments/leads

  • Engage and educate decision makers and C-level prospects based on provided list and custom developed target list

  • Research further potential targets based on target market profile criteria and add to database

  • Engage in conversations with prospects to provide a high-level overview of Athenas process engage in qualifying questions to field opportunities for fit and handle objections to convert opportunities into qualified leads.

  • Work with and master our internal tech platforms such as Pipedrive (CRM) Outlook ZoomInfo Aircall Office 365 LinkedIn etc.

  • Collaborate with team members and make suggestions on how to improve outreach efforts

  • Participate in weekly team meetings and regular on-going training

Your Qualities:

  • Bachelors degree in business administration or related field is required

  • One to three (1-3) years of outbound prospecting experience is required (cold calling hunting outbound sales related phone experience lead generation and/or collections experience etc.)

  • Experience working in B2B marketing/sales environments is a plus

  • Experience/familiarity with B2B contract manufacturing environments is a plus

  • A strong interest in a long-term career in sales is required

  • Competitive spirit to meet and exceed weekly monthly and quarterly goals

  • Readiness to cold call

  • Self-starter who works well in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong written verbal and communication skills

  • Strong sense of urgency

  • Coachability

  • Results and goal oriented

Benefits/Perks/Salary:

  • Compensation Range - $50000 to $65000 (depending on experience) includes average estimate of commissions and bonuses

    • Quarterly bonus for qualified lead goal achievements

    • Commission bonus based on closed new account opportunities

  • Eligible for annual profit sharing based on individual and company performance
