Sunwise Automotive Group is looking for a responsible and reliable Automotive Tire Technician to join our growing team at Weatherford BMW/ MINI of Berkeley! As a Tire Technician you will be responsible for ensuring that all performed work is completed at a consistently high standard to provide outstanding experiences for our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspect mount balance rotate and repair tires for a variety of vehicles
- Ensure all tire installations meet safety and quality standards
- Perform tire pressure checks
- Maintain shop equipment and a clean organized work environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding tire issues and solutions
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Tire Technician in an automotive shop dealership or tire service center
- Strong technical knowledge of tire equipment tools and safety procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable punctual and team-oriented
- Related experience and/or training a plus; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent organizational time management and communication skills.
- Knowledge of basic math skills.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle a plus
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
COMPENSATION:
The Tire Technician Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $22.00 and $28.00
