Job Summary

Data Scientist - Intermediate- ARIA

cFocus Software seeks a Data Scientist - Intermediate- Accessible Rich Internet Applications(ARIA) supporting the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS).
This position is located in Washington DC and Atlanta GA with the option for remote work.

Responsibilities

Collect analyze and enrich cyber threat intelligence tailored to HHS and the HPH sector
Produce intelligence products (IOCs technical briefs executive summaries) and deliver regular threat reports
Manage IOC ingestion categorization correlation and real-time alerting
Collaborate with external partners and stakeholders; brief leadership on emerging threats
Experience with Automated Risk Indicator Analysis (ARIA)
identify and streamline outdated processes introducing innovative approaches and technologies to improve operational efficiency
and reduce costs. Use expert knowledge in statistics programming and machine
learning to uncover insights and patterns within large datasets. Turn raw data into
actionable insights that can help organizations make more informed decisions and drive innovation.
Data Collection and Cleaning: Gathering data from various sources and
preparing it for analysis by cleaning organizing and transforming it.
Data Analysis: Using statistical methods and algorithms to identify trends
correlations and anomalies within the data.
Machine Learning: Building and training machine learning models to
make predictions classifications or recommendations.
Data Visualization: Creating visualizations (like charts graphs and
dashboards) to communicate findings effectively.
Problem Solving: Applying data-driven solutions to address business
challenges and improve decision-making.
