Job Summary
Ballad Health Medical Associates (BHMA) is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to fill an immediate PRN need with our Orthopedic Trauma Surgery team at Johnson City Medical Center a Level 1 Trauma Center. Although experience is preferred we will accept applications from new graduates.
Outpatient Clinic Setting/ Operating Room/Inpatient Responsibilities:
Evaluates and treats new and chronic orthopedic problems
Fracture management (reductions)
Assists in surgery
Casting and Splinting
Pre- and Post-Operative care
Injection therapy and joint aspirations
Physical Therapy and Rehab
Total Joint Arthroplasty
Trauma: single and multi-extremity fracture management at a Level 1 Trauma Facility
Arthroscopy RTC/Labral Repair
Experience with Upper Extremity/Hand
Consults
Inpatient service and ER admissions
Medical record management and discharge summaries
Emergency department and taking ED/Hospital/Trauma Call
PRN
