- Develop and (or) modify monitoring tools in alignment with the WASH-based funding requirements (WASH activities M&E plan) and thereafter facilitate training on these tools as well as Water trainings
- Establish the guidance for design and implementation of the baseline monitoring evaluation accountability and learning process which includes collecting analyzing and reporting on all required indicators as per the MEAL framework
- Develop an appropriate field-based monitoring plan for WASH-based funding project (including processmonitoring system) with the support of the WVL National Office WASH-based funding Project Team
- Lead learning and assessments of project effectivity and impact at the project level ensuring WVL contributes to advocacy and knowledge sharing efforts of the broader development community
- Identify gaps and study/assess/review opportunities based upon the analysis of WASH information and work to contribute to ongoing learning and development of the WASH initiatives which contribute to overall grant development of World Vision Lanka.
- Produce timely and quality WASH activity reports on a monthly quarterly semi-annual and annual basis alongside the WASH Program Manager and E&L Non-Sponsorship team (which will include consolidation of MMR ITTs and supporting documents)
- Assist the WASH Project Manager in developing appropriate tools for project-level accountability mechanism
Required qualifications experience & competencies
- Bachelors degree in Social Sciences / Development Management / International Development or relevant field.
- Minimum of 4 Years experience in M&E and experience in donor-funded projects (GIZ EU USAID KOICA DFAT etc.)
- Well-developed written and oral communications in English & Sinhala. Tamil would be an added advantage
