Job Description
KNOT Management Denmark A/S seeks 2. Officer with DP Unlimited & tanker experience for DP2 shuttle tankers.
On behalf of KNOT Management Denmark A/S MARPRO Group is looking for 2. Officer for the fleet of DP2 shuttle tankers in worldwide operation.
The job
As 2. Officer onboard our advanced DP-2 shuttle tankers you will play a central role in navigation DP-operations and offshore loading and safety management. You will be part of a professional crew ensuring safe and efficient tanker operations worldwide. The position requires dedication to both bridge and deck duties including navigation planning watchkeeping and supporting cargo operations in close cooperation with the senior officers.
Professional qualifications
- Master Mariner education (STCW II/1)
- DP Unlimited certificate
- Minimum 1 year of experience on tankers
- Fluent in Scandinavian and English

- Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Needed certificates
- Valid Watchkeeping Officer license (OOW II/1)
- Valid Unlimited DP certificate
- Valid advanced Oil Tanker (V/1-1-3)
- Basic Safety Training (VI/1)
- Proficiency in Survival Craft & Rescue Boats (VI/2-1)
- Advanced Firefighting (VI/3)
- Medical first Aid (VI/4-1) or alternatively Medical Care (VI/4-2)
- Security Duties Training (VI/6-2) or alternatively Ship Security Officer (SSO VI/5)
- Valid health certificate
- GMDSS certificate (IV/2)
- ECDIS (preferably Kongsberg)
