Position Summary
The Payroll & Finance Specialist ensures consultants are paid on time clients are billed correctly and financial operations run seamlessly to support our mission of delivering world-class human capital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Process weekly consultant payroll with 100% accuracy and timeliness.
Generate and send client invoices; track payments and coordinate with AR lead.
Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks and support reconciliations.
Manage accounts payable for vendors contractors and business expenses.
Prepare and update weekly cash flow forecasts to support leadership decisions.
Partner with Operations Manager to ensure timesheet accuracy and consultant billing.
Ensure compliance with federal state and local payroll regulations.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Payroll accuracy: 100%
Payroll timeliness: 100% on-time
Invoicing timeliness: 95% within 3 days of period close
AR collections: 35 days average
Cash forecast accuracy: 5% variance
Qualifications:
3 5 years experience in payroll AP/AR or finance operations (staffing industry a plus).
Strong knowledge of QuickBooks or similar platforms.
Detail-oriented organized with excellent time management.
Comfortable in a fast-paced high-growth environment.
