Job Description
Location: Spokane Washington
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night 3x12 hours (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
- Conduct baseline diagnostic and titration sleep studies.
- Perform and score Multiple Sleep Latency Tests (MSLT) and Maintenance of Wakefulness Tests (MWT).
- Monitor and document sleep stages respiratory events arousals and cardiac/neurological abnormalities.
- Fit and manage CPAP BiPAP VPAP ASV and oxygen delivery systems.
- Educate patients on sleep study procedures and equipment strict infection control and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy and rapid response teams.
- Minimum 1 year of recent polysomnography experience.
- BLS and RPSGT required (RPSGT strongly preferred).
- Proficiency with PSG scoring and sleep staging.
- Experience with pediatric and adult sleep studies.
- Familiarity with sleep-related equipment (ResMed Respironics etc.).
- Prior travel experience not required.
- Pediatric sleep study experience (baseline MSLT MWT).
- Proficiency in CPAP BiPAP VPAP and ASV titration.
- Strong knowledge of respiratory inductance plethysmography (RIP).
- Mask fitting experience (full face nasal nasal pillow).
- Ability to recognize and respond to cardiac and seizure-related events.
