Job Title : Senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer (RHEL/Ubuntu &Storage)

Job Type : W2/C2C

Experience : 10-15 Years

Location : Sunnyvale California

Responsibilities:

8 years of experience with Linux (Ubuntu and RHEL all other Linux flavors or Windows).
Good grasp of fundamental security concepts with hands-on experience in implementing security controls and compliance requirements
Ability to work well in a dynamic collaborative team environment
Working knowledge of risk management and standards.
Linux support (Ubuntu/RHEL related products IDM/Satellite/Centrify) product-centric knowledge and experience.
Hardware install/break/fix/troubleshoot Dell/ Cisco UCS/ HPE hardware install and maintain lifecycle.
SAN/NAS (Pure/Isilon/Netapp).
Maintain customer-facing mission-critical 24/7 production services.
Monitor optimize and troubleshoot operating systems networks and applications.
Perform regularly scheduled maintenance and upgrades including instance patching and replacement.
Provide infrastructure-level support for Production Development and QA environments.
Drive best practices for operational policies and procedures including communication change and incident management.
Participate in an on-call rotation.
Writing deployment scripts debugging application issues and evaluating new technologies.
Delivering 12x7 operations through a customer-focused approach including responding to production alerts.
Implementing system-level and application performance monitoring metrics using various monitoring tools like Elastic Search Logic Monitor etc.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
