Job Description
Design develop and maintain automation frameworks from scratch for both backend APIs/microservices and frontend UI.
Implement and manage automated test cases using tools like Selenium RestAssured Karate and BDD frameworks (Cucumber).
Build reusable maintainable and scalable test automation solutions.
Work with RESTful APIs performing validations and verifications across services.
Utilize AWS Cloud services such as EC2 Lambda Bastion Host and VPC in automation and testing workflows.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify functional and UI changes updating scripts accordingly for each release cycle.
Perform automated test execution analyze test reports and provide feedback to development teams.
Log and manage defects identified through automation tests and track them to closure.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
Generate detailed test reports using Extent Reports Allure or similar tools.
Support Agile development methodologies participating in sprint planning backlog grooming and retrospectives.
Write and execute SQL queries to validate backend data.
Contribute to non-functional testing efforts including performance load and stress testing where required.
