Job Description
JOB TITLE: Manufacturing Engineer - Aircraft Systems
LOCATION: Marietta GA
PAY RATE: $80/hour
We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary:
-
Act as subject matter expert across aerospace vehicle systems.
-
Collaborate with design quality supply chain EH&S and production operations.
-
Provide producibility inputs to optimize engineering requirements and reduce build complexity.
-
Develop 3D manufacturing simulations (clash detection task sequencing assembly efficiency).
-
Review designs for manufacturability and provide cost/performance improvement feedback.
-
Create Manufacturing Engineering Statement of Work requirements.
-
Full-time onsite role with occasional travel extended hours or weekend support.
Requirements:
-
Ability to obtain secret clearance
-
8 years supporting aerospace vehicle systems in production environments.
-
8 years in production operations and/or engineering.
-
5 years CAD experience (CATIA V4/5 3DX preferred).

Experience in manufacturing engineering roles supporting program startups and production.
-
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Desired Skills:
-
A&P Certificate.
-
Project management experience.
-
Confluence/JIRA familiarity.
-
Root Cause & Corrective Action FMEA experience.
-
Proven ability to set up production work cells and facility layouts.
-
Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
-
Ability to present technical info clearly to diverse audiences.
-
Active DoD Clearance (within last 5 years) and eligibility for special program access.
