Job Description
Position: Senior Salesforce Developer
Location: Reston VA(3 days a week onsite)
Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Salesforce Developer with deep expertise in Salesforce platform development to lead and deliver enterprise-grade solutions in a fast-paced agile environment. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and problem solver capable of translating complex business requirements into scalable and maintainable Salesforce applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design development and deployment of custom Salesforce solutions using Apex Lightning Web Components (LWC) Visualforce and Salesforce APIs.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define and implement efficient end-to-end business processes.
- Drive bi-weekly release cycles ensuring high-quality deliverables and quick turnaround on enhancements and fixes.
- Maintain and optimize existing Salesforce implementations ensuring performance scalability and security.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews technical design sessions and architectural decisions.
- Ensure alignment of Salesforce solutions with enterprise architecture and strategic IT goals.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
- Expertise in Apex LWC SOQL/SOSL Flows Process Builder and custom metadata types.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data model security model and integration patterns (REST/SOAP APIs Platform Events).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with bi-weekly sprint cycles and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment quickly analyze issues and deliver effective solutions under tight deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in computer science Information Systems or a related field.
- Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II Application Architect or System Architect are highly preferred.
- 10 years of overall IT experience with proven leadership in enterprise-level projects.
