Job Description
Job Title: Senior Test Automation Engineer - UFT
Job Location: New York or Chicago IL (Hybrid)
Job Type: Fulltime
Job Description:

- UFT (Unified Functional Testing)
- Strong hands-on experience in automating Excel Add-ins using UFT.
- Knowledge of record & playback descriptive programming and object repository management.
- Ability to identify and handle Excel Add-in objects (worksheets cells ribbons custom controls).
- Experience in writing VBScript code for test automation.
- Excel Automation Concepts
- Good understanding of Excel Object Model (Workbook Worksheet Range Cell objects).
- Ability to automate:
- Data entry and validation in Excel.
- Formula and macro execution checks.
- Ribbon/menu operations specific to the Add-in.
- Validation of data flow between the Add-in and backend systems.
- Test Data Management
- Handling UFT DataTable for parameterization.
- Driving test execution with multiple data sets.
- Exporting and validating test results in Excel.
- Validation & Assertions
- Proficiency in writing validations for Excel cell values formatting formulas and add-in actions.
- Error handling in scripts (e.g. missing add-in locked workbook incorrect data).
