About the Opportunity
Veterans Engineering (VE) is seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians OR Internal Medicine/Family Practice Physicians with current ER experience to support the Memphis VA Medical Center. This is an excellent long-term opportunity to serve our Veterans while working in a stable federal environment.
Location: Memphis VAMC Memphis TN
Contract: 5-Year Contract (Base Year: with extensions)
Start: ASAP
Schedule & Shifts
1012 hour shifts (days nights swing)
Weekly shift options:
MonFri: 8:00 AM 6:00 PM
Mon Tue Thu Fri: 12:00 PM 10:00 PM
SunSat: 6:00 PM 6:00 AM
No call requirements
Workload: 12 patients per hour
Patient Population: Adults only
Case Types: General emergency cases (major trauma heart attacks strokes routed or stabilized and transferred to local hospitals)
Requirements
Board Certified/Board Eligible (Emergency Medicine OR Internal Medicine/Family Practice with ER experience)
Any active U.S. state medical license accepted
BLS & ACLS (current)
DEA license
U.S. Citizen
EMR: CPRS
Credentialing
Average timeframe: 46 weeks
