Who were looking for
Toyota North Carolina is looking for passionate and highly motivated recent college graduates to join the Toyota North Carolina Operational Program (TOPS).
This program introduces top entry-level talent to engineering and operations areas and provides an accelerated pathway to a fulfilling career with TBMNC.
TOPS is a two-year rotational program that includes assignments across production engineering and quality. The program also offers opportunities for technical and soft skill development networking and mentorship. Specific rotation assignments are chosen based on current business needs and trainees educational backgrounds.
Upon successful program completion TOPS Trainees are placed into a full-time role in one of the completed rotation areas. TOPS Graduates form the talent pool from which future TBMNC Leaders Managers and Executives emerge.
What youll be doing
Collaborate cross-functionally acrossToyota North Carolina.
Develop project management leadership and communication skills through assigned projects and other duties.
Develop process improvement and innovation skills by participating in continuous improvement activities.
Participate in and complete all TOPS Program trainings and meetings.
One rotation will be in production; the other two rotations may be in any of the following areas: production control quality production engineering or other.
What you bring
Bachelors degree in an engineering or business discipline from an accredited college or university.
Overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale).
Prior internship and/or co-op experience in an engineering or business-related area.
Must be willing to support any shift.
Added bonus if you have
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel PowerPoint Word).
Proven leadership experience.
Team mindset.
Strong communication skills.
Understanding of business concepts/strategy.
