UMass Memorial Health the largest health care system in Central Massachusetts is seeking a full-time Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our expanding team at HealthAlliance-Clinton Hospital in Leominster. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a dedicated and collaborative cardiology group serving a vibrant community through a mix of inpatient and outpatient care.
Our current team consists of 5 Cardiologists (MDs) and 1 Advanced Practice Provider and we are growing to meet increasing demand for cardiovascular services.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive cardiology assessments including histories and physicals
Assist with inpatient and outpatient care management
Manage cardiovascular conditions across a broad spectrum of acuity
Order diagnostic studies (EKGs echos stress tests labs)
Coordinate care with physicians specialists and primary care providers
Educate patients and families on disease prevention and treatment plans
Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department

Position Qualifications:
Masters degree from accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
Current board certification
Current NP/PA license for Massachusetts
Current DEA and Massachusetts controlled substance registration
Must have ACLS
Experience/Skills:
Provider experience required
Cardiology experience preferred
