Position Summary:

The Associate Director plays a pivotal leadership role in a residential treatment program serving women with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders as well as their dependent children. The Associate Director works closely with the Sr. Director to ensure delivery of trauma-informed gender-responsive family-centered care that promotes long-term recovery and stability. This position oversees daily operations supervises the Cheshire leadership team and ensures regulatory compliance and supports the implementation of evidence-based practices in a nurturing safe and structured environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of residential treatment services ensuring quality care safety and compliance with licensing/accreditation standards.
  • Supervise and support program staff through recruitment training scheduling and performance management.
  • Contribute to client care by supporting assessments treatment planning and coordination with families and community partners.
  • Monitor program outcomes maintain data tracking systems and support continuous quality improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong community partnerships

Employment Type: Full time Employee (W-2) Salary Exempt

Typical Schedule: Tuesday- Saturday 8AM- 5PM

Compensation: Starting Salary between $85000- $94000 / Annually depending on qualifications and experience


Requirements
Education & Experience Needed for Associate Director of Womens Residential:
  • Masters degree in Social Work Psychology Counseling or related field (required).
  • Licensed or license-eligible (LCSW LMFT LPCC or equivalent).
  • CADC II or higher
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in behavioral health substance use disorder treatment or residential services.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory or program management experience preferably in a women and childrens program.

WF Employment Requirements:

  • This role requires the Associate Director to be primarily available on-site; Must be located in the Eugene OR area or be willing to commute.
  • Background Check Approval from the Department of Human Services (Initiated post-offer)
  • Pre-employment Drug Screening (including Cannabis/THC) (Initiated post-offer)
  • Effective 03/28/2025- Willamette Family has a required 12 month waiting period before former clients can apply for employment. This policy is in place to ensure professional boundaries and avoid potential conflicts of interest. Your response will not impact your eligibility beyond this requirement and all information will remain confidential.

Skills and Competencies Needed:

  • Strong clinical knowledge of co-occurring disorders and trauma-informed care.
  • Experience working with underserved marginalized and culturally diverse populations.
  • Skilled in staff supervision program operations and crisis management.
  • Excellent communication organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Proficient in electronic health records and case management systems.
