Your Position

As aControls Project Engineer youll play a key role in thedesign development and commissioning of automation control systemsmainly using PLCs and industrial PCs (FSC). This isnt just a desk job: youll be traveling across Europe (around60% of your time) to bring world-class automation systems to life working hand-in-hand with clients suppliers and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design programming and commissioning ofsortation and automation systems(PLCs FSC).
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation: specifications functional descriptions software programs and system architecture.
  • Collaborate withmechanical and electrical engineersfor smooth system integration.
  • Take charge ofon-site commissioningand troubleshoot during start-up.
  • Work directly withclients and suppliers clarifying technical details and solving issues.
  • Delivertraining sessionsto operational and maintenance staff.
  • Monitor system performance during ramp-up and propose improvements.
  • Contribute tocontinuous improvementin engineering standards and QA practices.
  • Ensure compliance withsafety standardsand industrial regulations.

Your Profile

You bring a mix oftechnical expertise problem-solving and communication skills with the motivation to learn and grow in an international environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Automation Electrical Mechatronics or Control Systems Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience withPLC programming(TIA Portal ProfiSafe Siemens Allen-Bradley).
  • Understanding ofTCP/IP communications.
  • Familiarity withSCADA/HMI systemsand fieldbus (Profinet Profibus ASi).
  • Stronganalytical and troubleshootingmindset.
  • Ability to read and understandelectrical schematicsand produce documentation.
  • Communication skills inSpanish and English (B2).
  • Willingness to travelaround 60% across Europefor commissioning and support.
  • Previous experience infield commissioning and troubleshootingis a high plus.
  • Knowledge ofindustrial automation and control systemsis a high plus.
  • A collaborative team spirit.
