Job duties: Prepare and evaluate oil and gas and insurance accounting records quarterly and annual financial statements and related internal financial reports to assess accuracy completeness and adherence to U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) requirements. Maintain loan amortization and tax schedules for real estate investment properties. Complete monthly billing and collections activities for tenants and customers. Evaluate daily monthly and year-end activities of income and balance sheet accounts to ensure correct financial through the general ledger. Perform month-end close activities for individual investments and investments that roll into other entities including journal entry preparation and account reconciliations. Interact with external auditors and tax preparers to communicate information in a timely and clear manner. Education: Master Accountancy Finance or related. Experience: Twelve months experience as Accountant Auditor or related preparing and evaluating accounting records quarterly and annual financial statements and related internal financial reports to assess accuracy completeness and adherence to U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) requirements or related.
