Job Description
- Prepare and file Primary and Supplemental Claims with Government agencies and handle conveyance where applicable. Close out final accounting of loans on select loan types (FNMA)
- Process claim payments/reimbursements and file appeals as necessary.
- Review and process all incoming invoices for accounts payable. Obtain a Supervisor approval on all expenses which exceed established limits. Record information on MSP note pad.
- Process refunds and reimbursements on REO loans
- Monitor inspections securing/winterization debris removal and prepare the property to be in marketable condition. Serve as the contact for municipal code concerns.
- Handle evictions on occupied properties and work with outside attorneys to coordinate this process. Oversee the Cash for Keys program in conjunction with evictions.
- Cancel REO Blanket Insurance Fire and Flood upon the sale of a property.
- Assign Realtors and Appraisers to marketing files. Order and track BPO and Appraisal requests for marketing of the REO properties.
- Verify all taxes are current when the property becomes REO. Keep a list of taxes that are due. Contact the tax collectors for copies of the taxes to be paid.
- Request and track Sheriff Deeds from the Foreclosure Attorney Offices. Request the sheriff distribution sheets and any refunds due.
- Basic knowledge of AS400 and MSP systems is a plus
- Must be tech-savvy and have the ability to learn new software systems as needed
