As a Data Scientist Associate within the Data and Analytics Team you will leverage data-driven insights to improve technology efficiency and the developer experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable analytics that drive business outcomes and support the firms strategic objectives.
Job responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers engineers and stakeholders to translate business objectives into data-driven solutions
- Analyze large and complex data sets to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in the product development life cycle
- Develop and implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms to forecast product performance and operational processes
- Design and conduct experiments to validate model outcomes and ensure accuracy
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics and insights
- Stay current with industry trends emerging technologies and best practices in data science
- Contribute to a collaborative and innovative team environment
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Bachelors degree in data science statistics computer science or a related field
- Three years of experience in data science analytics or a related role.
- Proficiency in data analytics and visualization techniques such as SQL Python and Tableau and experience with data warehousing technologies like Snowflake Databricks or Redshift
- Expertise in machine learning techniques statistical modeling and data mining
- Ability to tackle unstructured problems and learn quickly
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to derive actionable insights from complex data sets
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Experience with Agile methodologies and proficiency in Atlassian tools such as Jira and Jira Align
- Familiarity with analytics engineering tools like dbt and Airflow
- Understanding of DevEx metrics and software deployment pipelines
- Experience with AI technologies including prompt engineering and proof-of-concept development
- Experience preferably within financial services or technology
